Baseball is SO back!
Everybody stay calm, but baseball is back this week! That's right, the regular season begins this Thursday for the Minnesota Twins. Minnesota plays in Kansas City for a 3 game series against the Royals to kickoff the 2024 season!
Last season ended unfortunately too quick into the post season and was not what everyone hoped for. However, most of our favorite players are back and better than ever for this new season. Byron Buxton is healthy and has been back in the out field during spring training! Royce Lewis is also back for the Twins and is quickly becoming one of the fan favorites by far. We all have high hopes this year and can't help ourselves from saying "this is going to be THE season!" The last time the Twins won a World Series was 1991, so I think we are LONG overdue for another one.
Also, it is not too late join Fan Girl for the Twins Home Opener on April 4th! The game is against the Cleveland Guardians at 3:10pm. Tickets are $65 and are in section 104, row 38. You can join us at Bricksworth in the North Loop for a pre-game meetup anytime after 1:30pm and we can all walk together to the game around 2:45pm! Bricksworth is about a 4 minute walk from Target Field. Even though the Minnesota weather is all over the place right now, still holding out hope for a sunny, warmish day of baseball for the home opener!
