MARCH 17-MARCH 24

Gophers men's basketball season continues with an NIT bid. They will take on number four Butler at 8 p.m. CST Tuesday night.

Additionally, the Gophers women’s basketball team accepted their bid to play in the 2024 WNIT. Round one will take place March 20-22nd. Cheering for a successful tournament for both our mens and women's teams!

The Gophers men's hockey team lost to Michigan in the Big 10 tournament after a hard fought match last Saturday. Now, the men’s team is on hold, waiting to see what their spot will be for the NCAA tournament.

Unfortunately, the Gophers women’s hockey team finished their season 27-10-2 this past Saturday and will not advance to the Frozen Four. The team lost to number four Clarkson in the second-longest game in NCAA Tournament history.

University of Minnesota baseball is currently 7-9 after winning their home opener 5-1 over St. Olaf last week. They play at San Francisco this weekend on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th, hoping to get their record above .500.

University of Minnesota softball is currently 14-13 and will take on Maryland this weekend on the road.

Starting on Wednesday, the Gophers women’s swim team will compete at the NCAA Championships in Athens, GA.

The wrestling team will compete in Session I of the NCAA Championships in Kansas City, MO, starting on Thursday.

On Friday, our track team will head to Waco, Texas to compete in the Clyde Hart Classic at Baylor University.

2024 Spring volleyball starts this Friday with a match against the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul.

On Saturday, women’s gymnastics competes in the Big Ten Championships at Michigan.

Also on Saturday, the Gophers soccer team heads southwest to take on Minnesota State Mankato.

On Sunday, the mens golf team will compete at the Seahawk Intercollegiate in Wilmington, N.C.
